Last Saturday, October 5th, we took part in the II Vuelta a Sa Porrassa, an event dedicated to marine conservation and sports, set in an unbeatable location. Throughout the morning, we shared space with key allies in the protection of the marine environment, such as the Palma Aquarium Foundation, Cleanwave, Marilles, and Shark Med, each with their own stand showcasing the work being done in the Balearics to defend our Balearic Sea.

On 27 June, at the ATP Mallorca Championships, we were honored to partner in a charity event that raised €18,000. This achievement was made possible by the generosity and support of tennis players Rafa Nadal and Dominic Thiem, who donated their signed rackets for an auction.

The band Depeche Mode, together with the watch brand Hublot, has donated nearly €80,000 to the Plastic Free Mallorca project led by the Mallorca Preservation Foundation.
Last Saturday, we held a cleanup day at the Maristany Wetland in collaboration with WWF Spain. We managed to collect 1,600 kg of rubbish, over one and a half tonnes! Thanks to the support of the team from Sa Talaia Jardins, we were able to remove the larger items and ensure proper recycling of everything collected.
With the release of our 2023 annual report, Mallorca Preservation's financial information is now available. We are delighted to announce that we allocated over €300,000 to environmental conservation projects in 2023, continuing the foundation's growth trend. This success enhances our ability to support and promote initiatives aimed at improving Mallorca's environment.
On the 22nd of May, the Mediterranean Forum, organised by Prensa Ibérica, focused on sustainability and tourism in the face of climate change. The event was inaugurated with a keynote speech by Antoni Riera, Professor of Applied Economics and Director of the Fundación Impulsa, who provided a comprehensive overview of the challenges posed by climate change. Riera also outlined some of the key conclusions from the final report of the series.
