The government has approved sustainability tourism plans in Baleares for a value of 55 million euros, funded by European funds.
Of that total, 24 million will go to projects in Mallorca. The Sectoral Tourism Conference, which met in Madrid, approved the projects for the islands, which benefit from the Sustainable Tourism Destination 2022 program. Mallorca will receive funds for plans in six municipalities, including one from the Consell de Mallorca:
