Congress will process the Proposal for a Law for the Protection of the Mediterranean against Prospecting
The Mar Blava Alliance has managed to get the Congress of Deputies to process the Proposal of Law for the prohibition of hydrocarbon exploration in the Mediterranean Sea, with the unanimous support of all the groups of the Balearic Parliament.
El proyecto Mar Blava Alliance, an intersectoral platform created in 2013 and of which the Mallorca Preservation Foundation is a proud member since 2018, has the mission of increasing the protection of the Mediterranean Sea and moving towards greater sustainability of our energy system.
Yesterday’s political victory is undoubtedly a great step for our sea. Congratulations! And now, let’s put all our efforts towards the approval of the law! Together we’ll make it happen!
